Rural People, Lo-Mantang (Nepal)®
In March 2022, Polina Lynn traveled to Nepal and visited Lo-Mantang, a rural village bordering Tibet.
While exploring the village, she noticed something unique: many of the local people were wearing sunglasses that they had acquired from visiting tourists.
Intrigued by this, she decided to capture this distinctive aspect of the village in a mini-series of photos. The result is a beautiful and thought-provoking series that offers a glimpse into the lives of the people of Lo-Mantang.
Camera used: Pentax K100
Film: Portra 400, TMAX 3200.
